BMW Leases

BMW (known in English as Bavarian Motor Works) is a German company, headquartered in Munich, and founded in 1916.

BMW models (especially the 3-series) often top the list of the most frequently requested car leases. In fact, in 2007, LeaseCompare.com reported that the BMW 328 and the BMW 335 were the second and third most commonly requested new cars, and the BMW M3, 325 and 330 all made the top 10 list for used cars. However, by January 2009 only the BMW M3 made the list as the 6th most popular new car lease.

In both 2007 and 2008, BMW Financial Services ranked highest (of the 9 companies rated) in the luxury lease segment of JD Power and Associates' Annual Consumer Financing Satisfaction study. BMW's high ranking was based on customers' satisfaction with the company's application approval process, payment and billing process and their "customer contact experience". The 2008 study was based on responses from about 28,000 consumers who had financed their new vehicles in the five to seven months leading up to the study.

Lease Offers Direct from BMW

BMW Financial Services of North America offers a number of lease options on new coupes, sedans, sports wagons and convertibles, directly to consumers. Rates vary, but lease terms for new cars usually cover a term of between 36-60 months. Leases on certified pre-owned BMWs are limited to 48 months. Cash required at signing that includes the first month's lease payment, a downpayment, a security deposit, and an acquisition fee. Special offers are also available.

BMW Models currently in production

1 Series: The 1 Series coupe is known as the 128i. The 1 Series convertible is known as the 135i.

3 Series: The 3-series accounts for most of BMW's sales around the world. Models include the E90, a sports sedan, E92 coupe, the E93 convertible and the E91 station wagon.

5 Series: The 5-series models are sold in both touring bodies and sedans. More than 5 million have been produced since they were first released in 1972.

6 Series: The E24 was launched in 1976; the E63/E64 which was launched in 2003 as a convertible and a coupe.
